Tata Elxsi

The MoU is signed between the company and the college. The company provides its speakers to deliver technical presentations and talks at the college. Opportunities to do projects/ internships are provided. 76 students from various departments of 2019-23 batch were selected to do their final year project at Tata Elxsi with a stipend of Rs.15,000 per month. The company offers campus placements to competent students of the college.

HLL Lifecare Ltd.

The MoU is signed between the company and the Department of Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering at SCTCE. The company helps in the development and co-ordination of short courses, lectures, seminars, conferences and workshops in the relevant areas. Students of the department of Biotechnology and Biochemical engineering are offered the opportunity to conduct industrial visits, undergo practical training and pursue their minor projects. The first batch of students had successfully completed their B.Tech minor project on “safety in the chemical industry” at the Peroorkada plant of HLL Lifecare, during July- November 2022. Professionals from HLL lifecare are regularly visiting the campus for delivering lectures under the aegis of the department students’ association (EVOGEN) and the student chapter of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE). On the academic and research front, the department is currently supporting all the collaborating industries in their learning, hiring and value engineering of products, in addition to meeting their R&D requirements for new products and new innovations. The department is currently working towards establishing tie-ups with various biotech start-up companies in Kerala for expanding the scope of its consultancy services. Such tie-ups are also anticipated to help the department in nurturing a bio-incubation ecosystem on campus, thereby promoting student-entrepreneurship initiatives.

Ram Biological

The MoU is signed between the company and the Department of Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering at SCTCE. The company has offered distinct packages for organizing various Academic Collaborative Programmes (ACPs) such as workshops, faculty development programmes and student internships for the benefit of the students and faculty members of the department. These ACPs are found to be effective at bridging the gap between the campus and the corporate world, thereby enhancing the employability of the emerging workforce.

Trizlabs

The MoU is signed between the company and the college. The startup plans to set up an incubation centre at the institution, help bridge the gap between academic curriculum and industry. They also plan to explore the possibility to provide final year projects to students and recruits competent students on the basis of demand. The company has offered internship to students from various branches in the college.

Green Method Engineering

The MoU is signed between the company and the Department of Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering at SCTCE. The MoU is signed between the company and the college. The company has agreed upon providing industrial training/visits to faculty and students of the college to enable sufficient Industry-institute interaction, to expose them to the latest developments/requirements in the industry. The company helps deliver training of students and provides internships/jobs to competent students.

Technovalley

The MoU is signed between the company and the college. The company plans to collaborate with the institute in conducting webinars, conferences, hackathons etc. It offers to assist skill acquisition of faculty and students of the institute in latest technological areas like RedHat, VMware, Bigdata, Hadoop, to name a few.

Cryo Precision Technologies

The MoU is signed between the company and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SCTCE. The company offers technical upgradation of the students and faculty of the college, industrial training and also internship and placement opportunities to the students.
