Dr. S. H. Anilkumar

Dr. S. H. Anilkumar, completed his B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering, from College of Engineering, Trivandrum in 1992. He took his MTech degree in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Science) from College of Engineering, Trivandrum in 1995. He started his carrier as Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at The Indian Engineering College, Vadakkangulam, Tamilnadu from 31st October 1994. From 27th November 1995 onwards he worked as Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at College of Engineering [ IHRD ], Chengannur. He joined in SCTCE as Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering from 28th October 1996. From 28th October 2001 onwards he has worked as Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering. He joined for PhD in National Institute of Technology, Calicut on 23rd July 2004 as a sponsored candidate. Subsequently, he was awarded PhD in Mechanical Engineering, from National Institute of Technology, Calicut in the year 2010. He has a total of 27 years of teaching experience. He has four journal publications and ten conference publications to his credit. He has chaired and presented papers in International Conferences at Imperial College,

London and Heidelberg, Germany in the year 2008. He is a reviewer of Institution of Engineers Journal and National Conference publications. He has participated in many short term courses at IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bhubaneswar, NIT Calicut and other Engineering colleges in India. He has acted as subject expert in the departmental promotion committees of NIIST, VSSC and SCTIMST. He held the post of the HOD of the Mechanical Engineering Department from 1st Nov 2013 to 28th April 2016. He was in charge of Principal from 19th April 2017 to 4th June 2018. Presently he is working as Dean PG studies of this Institution.

He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers and Chartered Engineer – Institution Engineers, India.
