Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE), Student Chapter, SCTCE, TVM-18. The IIChE student chapter in SCTCE started in May 2017 in the department of Biotechnology and Bio-Chemical Engineering and is functioning under the Trivandrum region of the association. The number of students registered is 101. The Trivandrum region association organizes conferences, seminars and symposiums on various topics related to the field of Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology &biochemical engineering and project management.

All activities and programs are coordinated by a faculty in the same department which also consists of a student committee from all semesters.
