Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP)

Our college have signed an MoU with the Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) Kerala, which is a Section-8 Company of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Kerala, that focusses on skilling students and the general community and our own students to enhance their employability. Instituted in 2012, ASAP Kerala transitioned to a company under the Companies Act, 2013, in 2021.

The main objective of the centre is skilling, upskilling and reskilling in corporate and academic domains, by offering different contemporary courses of various domains and curating them to a ready-to-deploy workforce.

Skill Delivery Platform of Kerala (SDPK)

Skill Delivery Platform of Kerala”-SDPK, is a project linking various Engineering colleges in Kerala with the IT parks through a Tele-presence network. The project is aimed at creating State- of-the-art Technology enabled Learning platform that will enable remote delivery of high quality skills programme and industry – the platform to be enabled through dedicated network backbone, Telepresence solution and Learning Management system. The project is aimed at providing a learning platform connecting 150 Hi-Tech classrooms in the Engineering colleges of the state, which can deliver skills training to a large number of students each year.

The main objectives of the SDPK are :

To provide State-of-the-art Technology enabled Learning platform that will enable remote delivery of high quality skills programme and industry.

Deploy the learning platform connecting various Hi-Tech classrooms of the different Engineering colleges throughout the state.

Implementation of an effective e-Learning solution with collaboration features to use in a distributed environment.

Deliver formal skills delivery programme through Minor degree, various certification programmes, expert lectures etc. to enhance the learning opportunities and employability of students.
