Centre of Excellence on E-Mobility


The Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) of the Department of Transport, Government of Kerala, has sanctioned ₹95,00,000/- during the 2024-25 financial year for establishing the Centre of Excellence on E-Mobility at Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering (SCTCE).

Project Objectives:

  • Create an Ecosystem for Research, Innovation, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship for Green Mobility.
  • Build strong association of expertise with diverse experiences and facilities for Research and Innovation to exchange knowledge, ideas, and solutions between Industry and Academia.
  • Conduct technical programs including training, workshops, internships, seminars, conferences, expert talks, schools, and FDPs in relevant areas.
  • Implement the National Education Policy (NEP) and bridge the gap between Industry and Academia.
  • Provide world-class practices for Design, Research & Prototyping in e-mobility.
