The Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering Alumni Association (SCEAA) was formed in 2005 and is a body which is registered under the 12th section of Travancore- Cochin literary, scientific and charitable societies act of 1955. It has been formed with the following objectives: a. To maintain the contacts of the alumni of the Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, Trivandrum with the alma-mater. b. To provide a forum for bringing the old students of the college, so that they can contribute effectively to the cause of engineering education and research in the country c. To promote cultural and social contacts among the old students, present students and staff of the college so as to develop a sense of tradition and heritage in this great family, which in turn will lead to the further growth and prosperity of this great institution and her progeny d. To institute prizes, scholarships, book banks, research grants etc. for the students of the college e. To provide opportunities for developing entrepreneurship and practical know how among the graduating students and also to impart vocational and career guidance to them f. To help the students graduating from the college in securing professional training and employment consistent with their qualification g.
